{"id":36,"date":"2009-08-24T16:10:46","date_gmt":"2009-08-24T14:10:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sangregorio.net\/?p=36"},"modified":"2010-11-07T00:05:18","modified_gmt":"2010-11-06T22:05:18","slug":"le-attrattive-dellentroterra-di-patu-e-torre-san-gregorio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sangregorio.net\/index.php\/le-attrattive-dellentroterra-di-patu-e-torre-san-gregorio.html","title":{"rendered":"Le attrattive dell&#8217;entroterra di Pat\u00f9 e Torre San Gregorio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&#8217;entroterra che si estende da <strong>Pat\u00f9<\/strong> e dalla sua principale marina, <strong>Torre San Gregorio<\/strong>, ha diversi aspetti interessanti da offrire a chi, in vacanza in Salento, vuole concedersi una pausa alle lunghe giornate trascorse nello splendido mare salentino.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La prima cosa che il viaggiatore noter\u00e0 \u00e8 sicuramente il paesaggio rurale, una distesa sconfinata di vigneti ed uliveti, una delle maggiori risorse economiche del territorio da almeno due millenni, da quando la coltivazione dell&#8217;ulivo e della vigna vennero importate di greci ben consapevoli che le terre salentine sarebbero stati un luogo ideale per la maturazione dei generosi frutti che danno olio e vino di ottima qualit\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-38\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sangregorio.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/pajara-salentopc07-300x201.jpg\" alt=\"pajara-salentopc07\" width=\"300\" height=\"201\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sangregorio.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/pajara-salentopc07-300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.sangregorio.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/pajara-salentopc07.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>I terreni coltivati sono cintati da <strong>muretti a secco<\/strong> in pietra, e tra le fronde talvolta si scorgono i particolari edifici rurali che venivano utilizzati dagli agricoltori sia come deposito degli attrezzi che talvolta come veri e propri luoghi in cui sostare, le <strong>pajare<\/strong>. La bellezza di questi edifici consiste nella loro forma pittoresca e nella magistrale tecnica costruttiva che non prevede l&#8217;uso n\u00e9 di calce n\u00e9 di cemento.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nei punti pi\u00f9 alti, sulle colline un altro tratto distintivo del panorama rurale salentino, le \u201c<strong>specchie<\/strong>\u201d. Grandi cumuli di ciottoli e massi che si elevano dal terreno cui ancora gli studiosi non hanno saputo dare spiegazione riguardo alla funzione: per alcuni sono antichi tumuli funerari, per altri avevano una funzione difensiva perch\u00e8 sulla cima delle specchie si pu\u00f2 scrutare il panorama intorno anche a distanze notevoli.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Non mancano scorci magici e misteriosi nelle campagne salentine.
